Trans-Matic has prototype capabilities with five dedicated presses and a small team of experienced and dedicated journeymen toolmakers. We use finite element analysis (FEA) software to predict metal flow at the prototype stages and before tooling design begins.
At Trans-Matic we use 3D solid modeling software for our tool design activity. We have five tool rooms within our three facilities and the capability to provide all of our tooling needs. Trans-Matic also has a small team of specialized engineers that provide in-die sensors to determine part feature presence, pressure decay, tool wear, and dimensional capability. We also incorporate sensors in our dies and presses.
