Trans-Matic: A Metal Stamping Company
Trans-Matic has grown into one of the world's leading metal stamping companies. We are a manufacturer of precision deep drawn components and assemblies for the automotive, builders’ hardware, appliance, plumbing, power tool, HVAC, and other markets. Our ability to provide precision, custom metal stampings to our customers in an accurate and timely fashion has helped bring the Trans-Matic name to the top of the list when it comes to metal stamping company considerations.
Throughout
our history, Trans-Matic has remained innovative. The Trans-Matic Manufacturing Company was founded in 1968 in Holland, Michigan by Pat Thompson. In 1992, Trans-Matic established a satellite location in Tempe, AZ to provide deep drawn manufacturing and metal stamped parts to the Southwest and Mexico. This Southwest location was changed to a state of the art metal stamping facility, located in Mesa, AZ in 2002. In 2006, Trans-Matic started producing deep draw parts for our Asian customers out of our wholly owned foreign enterprise in Suzhou, China, bringing the success and reputation of a strong metal stamping company across seas.
Trans-Matic manufactures deep drawn metal stampings on high speed transfer presses from 5 to 600 tons. These presses have the capability to manufacture parts up to 4.5mm (.180") thick and 200mm (8”) tall. Primary materials used include low carbon, stainless, brass, copper, bronze, and aluminum. Trans-Matic also specializes in progressive die stampings, prototype development and tool design, advanced product development, and value added assemblies for your unique stamping needs. We carry the highest of
quality management systems as well, and are TS16949 and ISO14001 certified in all of our plants.
Trans-Matic is a member of the
Precision Metalforming Association (PMA).
